The Pastor in Pajamas serves as the Senior Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran in Des Moines Iowa,  and every-so-often wears pajamas in public, just for fun.  Somewhere between these two realities, of being a pastor and a love for all things pajamas lies the purpose of this site. Faith, like a favorite pair of pjs is something we can be comfortable wearing out in public. Sometimes it draws blank stares, sometimes smiles, sometimes wonderful conversation. And at all times faith can be part of how we choose to breathe life into the world around us.

Besides being in full-time ministry this pajamas fan is also a full-time husband and father of two, and enjoys jogging and playing the occasional video game. I cherish these roles and hobbies and how each encourage my inner muse to come out and play.
